Z-Enemy 1.22 now supports CUDA 10 with improved speed & stability

Since NVIDIA announced its new flagship graphic cards there is a heated debate among both the gaming and mining community. RTX 2080 TI is the fastest gaming card available in the market and is much powerful than GTX 1080 TI. It is the one that was finally able to push some of the latest generation games at 4k 60 FPS. But how is the mining performance on the latest Geforce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 TI cards?

On forums and YouTube, users are sharing their mining performance benchmarks for the new RTX graphic cards. From the look of it; 2080 seems to perform on the same levels of 1080 TI and 2080 TI is slightly better. But you must note that there are several tools available for 10 series cards (For example: Ethlargement Pill) which outperforms 20 series cards in mining performance.

With $1200 price tag the new RTX 2080 TI card might be worth it for gaming enthusiasts. But definitely not worth for mining yet. Especially in this bear market and considering the current crypto value there will be no ROI. Either wait for the card price to drop or wait for next generation mining software or algorithm that utilizes Tensor cores effectively.

Anyways if you own RTX 2080 or RTX 2080 TI GPUs then currently there are few mining software which supports CUDA 10 and is optimized for the latest NVIDIA GPUs. The new version Enemy 1.22 is one of them which you can try.

Z-Enemy 1.22

Z-Enemy 1.22 is a CUDA accelerated mining application and is one of the popular miner available for NVIDIA with support for multiple algorithms. This software is available for Windows, Ubuntu Linux, Eth OS and Hive OS. But do note that it is only available as closed source binary and it includes a build in developer fee of 1% to further support the software development.

This mining software has greatly improved and in every new release the developers keep adding new features, new algorithms and performance improvements. Compared to previous version Enemy 1.22 doesn’t have any significant performance boost or support for any new algorithms. But as per community request they’ve added support for CUDA 10. Along with that; this new version Enemy 1.22 has got slight performance improvements on some of its algorithms.

Enemy 1.22

Enemy 1.22 NVIDIA miner features:

Enemy version 1.22 is the first basic build for CUDA 10. It is experimental and the developer mentioned that this miner delivers higher speeds and stability on RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 TI GPUs. We don’t own any 20 series cards but few community members are seem to be testing it. Some reported that with driver 416.16 the miner is pretty stable and some reported that the performance is similar to 1080 TI. Anyways if you own RTX cards and are curious about the mining performance then give this miner a try and see for yourself.

In adding to CUDA 10 support Enemy version 1.22 has some slight performance improvements. The developer have stated that there is a 2% to 5% performance boost on algorithms such as: X16R, HEX, X16S, C11, Bitcore and X17.

Now before you download and use this miner make sure you have the latest GeForce drivers. For CUDA 10 you need driver version 415+. For CUDA 9.1 and 9.2 drivers version 398+ is recommended. Also we’d like to remind you again that this is a closed source miner which has a dev fee of 1%.
